It came in on time and was in good condition. No real complaints here.

This is the same software that was used in 2005…and in 2004…and in 2003… I checked the files on the CD rom, and none of them were any newer than 2004. Some of the data files on the CD were from 1997! I don’t think they updated the content on this CD at all. What a let down. Save yourself some money and find an old copy on eBay or something.

So I initially was given the GMAT/LSAT/etc prep cd from 2003 from a family member. I loaded the CD and laughed at the outdated graphics, interface, and music. I recently came across the 06′ version and decided that for a 5 dollar investment that it may be worth it considering that it should have new questions, content, and updated interface. Needless to say, I was a little dissapointed as it did not.
There were slight tweaks between the 03′ and 06′, but when I started to see very similar (if not the same) questions, I was a little perturbed. There seems to be very little difference between this 06′ version and previous versions. Now I do not expect a complete overhaul in 3 years, but I would hope that there was something new or different.
Although, I should also state, that I later purchased the Kaplan study book and found it to be significantly more helpful than the CD-ROM. There were even hints in the book that conflicted with content in the CD-ROM.
Needless to say, this product looses two stars for not having evloved since there is a “vintage” associated with the program and for not being as helpful as other study aids. It keeps the remaining 3 stars as it does provided somewhat useful content and computer tests that help you prep for the GMAT CAT test.
Overall, I would highly suggest this for the price (around 5$) as a good study aid, along with the Kaplan book. If you plan to only purchase one, I would really suggest purchasing the Kaplan book instead.

Fantastic Item… the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you can’t print out the math flash cards.
